On February 5th, the independently developed wind turbine main bearings of LYC powered the world's first 20MW offshore wind turbine to complete commissioning in the southern Fujian sea area and achieve successful grid-connected power generation. This marks the first time that China has completed the hoisting, commissioning and grid connection of a 20MW offshore wind turbine, signifying that China's R&D, manufacturing, offshore construction and operation capabilities for ultra-large capacity wind turbines have reached a new level.

The wind turbine main bearings supplied by LYC for the world's first 20MW offshore wind turbine represent China’s first TRB main bearings with long service life and high reliability in the offshore wind power sector, whose core technologies have reached the industry-leading level.

The commercial application of this product has further consolidated the LYC’s technological leadership in the field of core wind power components.
